Min: Foreign investors return to Russian fin mkt, avoid production

MOSCOW, Jun 11 (PRIME) -- Foreign investors are returning to the Russian financial market but are not to production, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said at the Primakov Readings on Tuesday.

“The economic situation in Russia is way better than in the other emerging economies. It is not a coincidence that financial investment in us is made. Our securities -- the state securities and those of large issuers -- are in a lot of demand from foreigners. We see that foreign investors return to the financial market but they do not go to the producing economy so far,” Siluanov said.

He said that Russia must create more comfortable conditions for businessmen.
